Gameplay mechanics explored in Bioshock Infinite video interview

In this video interview released by Sony, Bioshock Infinite writer Drew Holmes discusses further details about the gameplay mechanics, involving non-playable character Elizabeth as an AI companion and the importance of the sky line transport in combat. The video also shows off concept art of hostile enemies players will encounter in the game.
Watch and take in the brilliant environment and beautiful graphics of one of the most anticipated games in 2013 due for release on March 26 for all platforms.

Resident Evil 6 Siege multiplayer screenshots; Siege mode arriving March

It’s monsters versus humans in the upcoming new Siege multiplayer mode for Resident Evil 6. The new gameplay mode puts players in a fight to kill/keep alive an AI bot soldier, with one team playing as monsters against the other team composed of the main Resident Evil 6 characters. Siege mode is the 4th new multiplayer mode for Resident Evil 6 and will be available in March for $3.99 on PlayStation 3 and 320 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360.

Assassin’s Creed 3 Tyranny of King Washington DLC release date announced

The Infamy, the first episode of a three-part DLC pack for Assassin’s Creed 3’s The Tyranny of King Washington will be available for Xbox 360 and PC on February 19 and PlayStation 3 on February 20 at the price of 800 Microsoft Points, £7.99 or $10. The DLC will cost nothing for those who own the Assassin’s Creed 3 Season Pass. A release date for Wii U is yet to be revealed.

Released in October of 2012, XCOM: Enemy Unknown is a modern day remake of 1994 game UFO: Enemy Unknown. It’s been out for a couple of months now, so a price drop is not unexpected. The list of achievements for Crysis 3 have surfaced on Xbox 360 Achievements and all of them are spoiler-free, although some reveal new features added to the sequel.

GameStop has pulled the ability to digitally pre-order Metro: Last Light from GameStop Impulse, the game retailer’s online download service for PC. This comes amid uncertainty about the game’s publisher, THQ, which is currently going through bankruptcy and will be auctioning off its assets next week. Crytek opens Istanbul studio focusing on free-to-play and online games

Crytek announced today the opening of their 8th international studio in Istanbul. The new gaming studio will be mostly dedicated to free-to-play and online game titles such as GFACE and Warface. In the past, it has been hinted that Warface might be ported to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms in the near future, so this may be one of the possible takes Crytek Istanbul will uptake.

Ubisoft has debuted a new trailer featuring an older Sam Fisher, the commander of the newly formed “Fourth Echelon”, as he executes stealthy combat moves with flourish only veteran action heroes can master. The trailer also confirmed a release date for the upcoming stealth game on August 20, a delay from the spring 2013 release Ubisoft was targeting. No comment has been made about the changed date.
