During the Sony’s press conference in New York, Ubisoft confirmed that their upcoming thriller game Watch Dogs will be available for PlayStation 4 and Wii U. The game will run on AnvilNext, the latest game engine created by Ubisoft Montreal. CEO Yves Guillemot said, “we are creating games that can be played anytime anywhere across many different devices.”

GDC 2013 talks to include Dishonored, Wii U, Journey and NASA

The Games Developers Conference 2013 is right around the corner and will be held between March 25 to 29 in San Francisco. The organizers behind the event have just posted a preview highlighting some of the talks that will be held at GDC San Francisco. Upcoming Lego City Undercover for Nintendo looks like a load of fun in new trailer

The first Lego game to be published by Nintendo is looking like the regular action-comedy genre in this latest trailer. Made of plenty of fun and humor, Lego City Undercover will see players take on the role of Chase McCain, an undercover cop who is looking to take down the cause of the recent spike in crime rates – Rex Fury.
Lego City Undercover will be released exclusively for Wii U on March 18 (North America) and March 28 (Europe).

Disney rakes in $291 million from video games during holiday 2012

Disney posted its earnings today and its video games division brought in $291 million in revenue during the holiday quarter ending December 31, 2012 (a 4% increase from the year before). Out of this amount, sub-company Disney Interactive posted $9 million profit, a tremendous improvement over the $28 million loss seen in the same period for 2011. Games released during the holiday season include Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, Wreck-it Ralph the iOS game and Toy Story Mania.

Resident Evil producer: Too many games, franchise may shift back from action to horror

Treyarch says Revolution DLC listings not a Wii U release confirmation

The Revolution DLC came out for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 yesterday on Xbox 360, and oddly enough, menu listings from the DLC are showing up on Nintendo’s platform after a patch targeting the Wii U. We have 6 official screenshots and gameplay video from the latest Revolution DLC for Call of Duty:Black Ops 2. This new DLC is out today on Xbox 360 for 1200 Microsoft Points and said to be released for other platforms on February 28 for $14.99.
