Valve has officially launched Steam Early access today, which will allow gamers to play titles which are still in the works. The feature, announced last year alongside Steam Greenlight (an initiative which allows smaller game developers to publish their own titles on Steam based on user votes and feedback), will allow gamers to essentially become playtesters while development is still on-going. This is highly beneficial in providing feedback (to improve games and iron out bugs) to developers before their games […]

As promised to faithful fans, Irrational Games released the full version for the BioShock Infinite TV commercial which premiered during The Walking Dead on Sunday, playing to the same kickass song from the Beast of America trailer, Nico Vega’s ‘Beast’. The CG trailer features an Elizabeth who looks a lot like her face model, cosplayer Anna Moleva, and Booker… does he really look like that, I wonder?
Anyways, Booker attempts to snipe the man who orders his cronies to […]
Publisher Deep Silver has uploaded a new trailer for first-person post-apocalyptic Metro: Last Light, presumably narrated by protagonist Artyom describes how the people of the metro are still waiting to see the light of day and the dominance of an enemy faction known as the Fourth Reich. The trailer explores a much harsher world under the metro where the Reich soldiers cruelly execute weaker beings and gather at an underground location to hail loyalty to their fascist leader. But how can Connor catch up with Franklin and his incredible sprinting? Turn into an eagle, of […]
Tomb Raider (2013) was an epic game and we’re glad that you have enjoyed our Tomb Raider review posted last week. The game is one of the most refreshing games we have played in a while (if you haven’t read our in-depth review, I encourage you to check it out) and it looks especially good on PC; I’d even call it a great contender with Crysis, graphics-wise. We’ve gotten plenty of questions from readers that it justified making a […]
Electronic Arts made an announcement today that John Riccitiello will be stepping down from his CEO post as well as from being a member of the company’s Board of Directors on March 30. Riccitiello, who has been EA’s CEO since 2007, cited accountability and missing an internal operating plan in his resignation letter. By stepping down, he wants to “allow the talented leaders at EA a clean start on FY14”.
Electronic Arts proves its still loves the shades of dark blue and orange by reusing those colors for the next Battlefield game, also known as Battlefield 4 which is the sequel of Battlefield 3 and continuation of Henry Blackburn’s story. Unless Blackburn aged backwards or got a facelift or something, the US soldier on the first promo art is probably just another good-looking model EA uses for promotional purposes with all that Hollywood-perfect hair slicked back, despite the heavy rain, […]
Dead Island: Riptide is a zombie-filled game with an open world that lands next month. In a recent interview with Digital Spy, creative producer of Deep Silver, Alexander Toplansky has cited that the game will not make an appearance on the Wii U platform due to the rework needed to port the engine to Nintendo’s console platform.
In this interview during the BAFTAs, Irrational Games creative designer Ken Levine talks about BioShock Infinite, Elizabeth and how the development team struggled through blood, sweat and tears to humanize her as much as possible.
It’s zombies and even more zombies in the newly announced collaboration between Valve and Capcom to bring characters and zombies into each other’s games. Capcom is finally releasing Resident Evil 6 for Windows PC next Friday on March 22.
Irrational Games is doing big-time prepping for BioShock Infinite’s much-anticipated release in a little over a week. The developer has revealed an all-star cast of voice actors for the game. Well, not really all-star, but there are a few familiar names up there you might’ve heard of.
Veteran voice talent Troy Baker (Batman: Arkham City, Catherine, God of War: Ascension, Final Fantasy XIII), especially, who voices the main character Booker DeWitt and is set to star as another […]
