Capcom has revealed the PC specs for its upcoming futuristic game Remember Me, set in Neo-Paris in 2084 where citizens live in dystopia. Disney closes game publisher LucasArts with layoffs

After being under the reign of the owners of the happiest place on Earth, things aren’t looking so happy for game publisher LucasArts. Barely 6 months after acquiring the company, Disney announced the closure of LucasArts today with “layoffs across the organization”, according to an official statement released by Disney to GameInformer. LucasArts was obtained as part of the purchase of Lucasfilm Ltd back in October 2012 for a sum of $4 billion.

Nvidia says next-gen mobile chips will beat current consoles

It won’t be long before future processors in phones, tablets and handheld gaming devices beat the amount of processing power in current consoles. While speaking with Bit-tech, Tony Tamasi, Nvidia’s Senior VP of Content & Technology said that the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 are “barely more powerful” than current mobile devices and that we should expect next-generation graphics for mobile platforms to beat them.
