Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist launching for Wii U in August

Splinter Cell: Blacklist, the upcoming Ubisoft-made stealth action game, is now coming to the Wii U. The game will be launched towards the end of August at the same time as its Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 counterparts on August 20th in North America, August 22nd in Australia and August 23rd for Europe. Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist will support the Wii U’s second screen feature on its GamePad controller.

Poker Night at the Inventory available for pre-purchase

The sequel to the 2010 release ‘Poker Night at the Inventory’ is now available to pre-order on Steam. Users who do this will receive a free copy of the original along with several Borderlands 2 and Team Fortress 2 items including: The Assassin Portal skin and The Dapper Disguise.

Double Fine, the company behind Psychonauts and Brutal Legend, was approached by Sony. According to PlayStation Official Magazine UK’s encounter with Double Fine’s founder, Tim Schafer, at PAX East, he was surprised that Sony approached them, “because we’re not Bungie… or Insomniac”.
