Konami might be gearing up for a sequel to Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, the spin-off game in the Metal Gear Solid franchise that they released with Platinum Games in February 2013. Linking to a publicly available survey from their official Metal Gear Solid website, Konami is asking for input on how gamers felt about Revengeance and what they’d like to see more if a potential sequel was to be made.
Gamers are asked what they liked/disliked about Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and why they did or did not; from characters to game mechanics and from enemy/boss fights to plot-related elements (which included Raiden as the main character, humor, story complexity and stealth).
Konami then throws several ideas and considerations for survey-takers about a potential sequel. Some of their ideas are interesting as Konami asks if they’d like to see a multiplayer element added in the future, human enemies and romance (!) included in the plot.
Long time Metal Gear director/producer Hideo Kojima and producer of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Yuji Korekado, have mentioned their willingness in developing a sequel. By the looks of this survey, it turns out that they just might make one.
