Irrational Games releases Bioshock Infinite PC requirements and features

One of the most anticipated games of the year is set to become one of the most beautiful games as well. Irrational Games technical director Chris Kline prepares for the release of Bioshock Infinite in March by writing a blog post detailing controls, graphics and gaming setup specifications. He also seizes the opportunity to express his appreciation for PC gamers in his introduction to the post.

Battlefield 3 developer DICE has confirmed earlier this week that a new DLC for Battlefield 3 will be released in March 2013. In a teaser for the upcoming Crysis 3 that will be released on February 19, Crytek has just published a new video in their Crysis 3 “7 Wonders” series. The new Cause and Effect takes a ‘reverse time’ look at Prophet taking down a helicopter, using his composite bow to take down an enemy and then grabbing a machine gun to mow down a team of CELL soldiers sent to take him down (what else is new with CELL?).

THQ assets will be sold ‘title by title’ at auction, Warner Bros interested

THQ filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy just recently and now they will be holding an auction on January 22 to sell off the company’s assets to the highest bidder. Among notable titles published by THQ are Company of Heroes, Saints Row and Metro 2033.
As for the auction, many big companies are already eying the game franchises and development studios. EA expressed large interest in buying over THQ and has reportedly been visiting the headquarters to evaluate future purchases. No doubt […]

The game will be released simultaneously for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on February 19th, 2013 for America and three days after on the 22nd of February for Europe and the rest of the world. EA has released details of the minimum, recommended and high performance system requirements for PC consoles for the upcoming first-person shooter blockbuster, Crysis 3. The Crytek-developed game will not support Windows XP but requires 2 GB of memory and a DirectX 11 graphics card to run. The supported operating systems are Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8.
