As if the ‘Lamb of Columbia’ teaser trailer wasn’t enough to get us all excited, Irrational Games is making headlines again with newly-uploaded new screenshots for the upcoming blockbuster game BioShock Infinite. The high-definition screenshots are an closeup shot of a creepy-looking motorized Patriot wielding an enormous machine gun, Elizabeth looking worried in the bright streets of Columbia and the Founders, one of the factions in the game. Looks like this game is really worth the delay, huh? Plus, […]

Can’t get enough of BioShock Infinite? Me neither! Get a sneak peek of the upcoming ‘Lamb of Columbia’ trailer before the full version is released today. Columbia looks incredibly atmospheric in this clip. Look at how magnificent the statue looks against the background of bright blue skies, a sharp contrast to what the game is actually about. I’m guessing we’ll see more about Elizabeth since she is, after all, the Lamb as implied in the second segment of the […]

During an interview with Polygon, Irrational Games user experience specialist Bill Gardner stated that he wanted BioShock Infinite to be set in the Renaissance era when he was the lead designer working on the game development. Unfortunately, or fortunately, whichever way you want to look at it, Assassin’s Creed 2 was announced not long after that and the idea was scrapped.
He said, “We cut off enough things to make five or six full games. It is alarming. I mean, […]

The first episode for Assassin’s Creed 3’s The Tyranny of King Washington DLC expansion pack called ‘The Infamy’ is finally here. The launch trailer is a bit of a lackluster compared to other Assassin’s Creed-related trailers, showing Connor in his wolf outfit at the center of the George Washington drama. The excessive violent scenes seem to make it less cinematic and tells us little about the story behind the DLC. And is that Connor’s mom, Ziio?

The mysteries grow deeper as Bioshock Infinite’s Columbia: A Modern Day Icarus video series returns with part two to separate truth from legend. “Every generation there are people who think they’ll be the ones to see the end of the world. The special few that will bear witness to the rapture. A nuclear winter or global warming… it’s gone by a lot of names. We’ve always called these people ‘alarmists’, ‘zealots’, ‘nutjobs’, but sooner or later, one of them has to be right,” Prophet (presumably) narrates in this final episode of The 7 Wonders of Crysis 3, titled End of Days and […]

The behind-the-scenes clip shows T.C Carson’s award-winning performance as Kratos, the former servant of Ares and one of the video game industry’s most badass characters. Jennifer Hale (best known as the female Commander Shepherd in the Mass Effect series) acts alongside Carson with her portrayal of Lysandra. The video also shows game director Todd Papy and other crew working on the set as they prepare to bring Kratos to life in this motion capture performance and what cinematic animation does […]

Bungie confirms Destiny, slated for reveal on February 17

From the creators of the Halo franchise, Destiny is rumored to be a science-fiction alternate reality game (ARG). Previous screenshots show what looks like a large white snowball hovering over Earth, ruined buildings, moss-covered areas and very snowy environment. There are also some characters suited up in metal armor, gripping chunky hi-tech weapons. I’m not sure what this could mean for the game’s plot, but certain concepts could possibly be taken from Halo games.
Bungie is back in action now, ready […]
