Saints Row 4 box art is gloriously purple

Deep Silver has unveiled the box art for Saints Row IV and it features a lot of purple. There are gun-wielding ladies in tight clothes and a formally dressed man smoking while saluting. In the background, there’s a turret of some kind, an American flag, a ruined city and a something wielding a pencil. The game will be released on August 20 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Hot on the heels of its release, Deep Silver has released the launch trailer to celebrate Metro: Last Light. Dozens of reviews are out there already, a majority of them saying the sequel is not nearly as good as its predecessor. Activision has somewhat confirmed the next Call of Duty title, currently known as ‘Ghosts’, by creating an official site with a mosaic of avatars to form a ghostly image. The profile pictures are compiled from visitors and fans who submit their photos via Facebook or Twitter. BioShock Infinite might introduce new AI companion in DLC

Rumors about BioShock Infinite’s upcoming DLC have been spreading all over the media like wildfire since the LinkedIn profile of 2K games senior animator Michael Shanan suggested that he had been “providing animation and R&D for a new AI companion character for BioShock Infinite DLC 1”.
Not long after the heavily-anticipated game’s release, Irrational Games confirmed that the additional content will “continue the player’s journey in the sky-city of Columbia with new stories, characters, abilities and weapons”.

Beyond: Two Souls will be ten hours long

At the Tribeca Film Festival, Quantic Dream boss David Cage confirmed that the gameplay length for upcoming PS3 exclusive title Beyond: Two Souls will be ten hours long. Cage also stated that about 75% of players completed Quantic Dream’s previous game Heavy Rain because they were motivated by its engaging storyline.

Sony has just launched a new video talking about the features of the DualShock 4 controller for the upcoming PlayStation 4 console they are launching this year. The 2-and-a-half minute video shows Nicolas Doucet and Toshimasa Aoki, producer and product planner respectively for Sony Computer Entertainment along with Scott Rohde, Senior VP of Sony’s Worldwide Studios, discussing the key features of the DualShock 4 controller.

According to BF4Central, a promotional poster for Battlefield 4 from an EB Games Australia store hints at a possible DLC pack called ‘Drone Strike’ as well as a new multiplayer mode known as Commander mode. Namco Bandai has released the launch trailer for Star Trek, featuring all that high tech spaceship stuff, monsters, Chris Pine’s virtual twin and Spock with his iconic hairstyle and blue outfit. The game is available on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 today in North America while the UK launch will be on this Friday, April 23.
