“Prophet returns to a New York City in lockdown, a broken metropolis entombed inside the CELL Corporation’s Nanodome, in this all new video directed by Albert Hughes.
“The ‘Liberty Dome’ has transformed much of New York City into an urban rainforest, teaming with colossal trees, dense swamplands and raging rivers. The dangers of this new environment will demand advanced weaponry and tactics– luckily the Nanosuit is more than up to the task of hunting down Prophet’s enemies in Crysis 3.”

The narrator (presumably main protagonist Artyom) tells us about the gifts in life, despite how dark and wrecked the world has become. The trailer offers a glimpse of what life is in the metros – a child drawing on the ground, hand shadows for entertainment – and what lurks within the shadows on the walls. The first half is sad and slow-paced, but as it progresses, mutant creatures leap into the scene and attack humans who have strayed too far […]

Visit and you’ll find it isn’t a site about Modern Warfare 3, but one that bashes the Call of Duty series for recycling the same stuff, especially the gameplay elements and gaming engine, since the first Modern Warfare (Call of Duty 4) in 2007. And that’s exactly what Activision is unhappy about; the fact the Modern Warfare 3 “domain name” is a Call of Duty basher and urges folks to support the upcoming Battlefield 3 game from EA instead. Call of Duty “Action” game still in the pipeline

Jun 24 2011 add comment

As if existing Call of Duty games aren’t action packed enough already, we’ve heard from an interview article today that Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg is saying Sledgehammer Games (who is still developing Modern Warfare 3) is focused on MW3… though that hints the original Action (or Call of Duty third person title… or Call of Duty MMO) COD game that Sledgehammer was supposed to develop, may be just ‘delayed’ but still in the pipeline, compared to being dropped completely, seeing […]
