Konami might be gearing up for a sequel to Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, the spin-off game in the Metal Gear Solid franchise that they released with Platinum Games in February 2013. Linking to a publicly available survey from their official Metal Gear Solid website, Konami is asking for input on how gamers felt about Revengeance and what they’d like to see more if a potential sequel was to be made.

We’re almost into July and the holiday season of 2013 is just edging closer, along with the launch of next-generation consoles from Sony and Microsoft. The big $100 gap between the $399 PlayStation 4 and $499 Xbox One has certainly sparked plenty of raised eyebrows and debates; since Sony’s offering is clearly cheaper AND apparently has slightly better hardware to power games, while the Xbox One comes with the Kinect camera (something gamers will have to shell out extra for […]
During Ubisoft’s E3 press conference, the studio released a new trailer for its upcoming open-world game Watch Dogs, featuring antihero Aiden Pearce taking down a human trafficker with his “fists and wits”. The trailer plays out just like a movie or uncannily like TV show Person of Interest, whichever way you want to look at it, and I must say that this is the most impressive E3 trailer I’ve seen.

After their PlayStation event in February, which showcased the new DualShock 4 controller while glazing the PlayStation 4’s main features without going in-depth or showing any images of it, Sony finally took the wraps off everything about the PlayStation 4 in their second PlayStation event today.
During the E3 press conference earlier today, Warner Bros. Interactive debuted the first gameplay trailer for Batman: Arkham Origins. The trailer shows off plenty of brutal action in Gotham City where villains rule factions and factions rule the streets. It looks like Batman is up for a challenge in this prequel as someone sets a bounty for his head, but no doubt the younger Batman will outsmart these baddies and save the world like he does.

Ubisoft has just launched a new trailer for upcoming stealth adventure title Splinter Cell: Blacklist. The minute-and-a-half long video shows protagonist Sam Fisher, looking a bit aged, rising back up to serve his duty to defend his homeland.
The E3 2013 gaming convention in Los Angeles is this week’s highlight of gaming world. Ubisoft has just announced a new franchise for the driving/racing genre, The Crew.
Ubisoft has joined forces with Massive Entertainment to create a multiplayer open-world game Tom Clancy’s The Division set in a post-apocalyptic New York where a virus outbreak is caused by germs on money used on Black Friday. While the gameplay and setting looks impressive with its cool gadgets and combat tactics, it’s a pity they aren’t giving PC gamers a chance to join in on the fun.
The Division will release sometime in 2014 for Xbox One and PS4.
The Lost Island is the first DLC for high-tech first person shooter, Crysis 3, which was first launched in February 2013. This DLC is geared towards the multiplayer aspect of the game while bringing players back to the setting of the original Crysis; with 4 new maps (Ascent, Crossing, Coastline and Creek) all set in the forest and foliage-filled environment of an island near the Philippines.
While Splinter Cell: Blacklist prepares for its August release, Ubisoft Toronto is already planning next-gen adventures for Sam Fisher with more Splinter Cell titles in the making.
“For next-gen there are a lot of plans in the works,” Blacklist art director Scott Lee said when speaking to Arabic Gamers. “Obviously we can’t talk about that at the moment but I definitely look forward to seeing Sam in new adventures, bigger and better as we go along. Sam will […]

I don’t think I could ever tire of mocap videos. That’s right; keep ’em rolling in, people. Ubisoft Montreal, for instance, has uploaded a developer diary video featuring the process of motion capture for its upcoming game Watch Dogs. The session shows how protagonist Aiden Pearce – or in this case, the mocap actor – attacks the bad guys brutally. As always for mocap videos, the footage is both impressive and fantastic to watch.
Watch Dogs will be released on November […]
