Tamagotchi to be relaunched as mobile app on iOS and Android

Tamagotchi will be making a return to the video game world as a mobile app for iOS and Android devices, Bandai has announced. The game, called Tamagotchi L.i.f.e., will feature mini-games, retro mode (relive your childhood memories all over again!) and bonuses to be unlocked.
During the late nineties, the classic toy was a handheld digital pet in the shape of an egg. Back in those days, Tamagotchi was (and still is) so popular that schools began banning the game […]

Codemasters flashes brief Grid 2 gameplay teaser

Grid 2 is an upcoming racing game that’s coming out this May. The developer of Grid 2, Codemasters (who’s also behind successful race track series Dirt), has just released a 44 second short video of the game. Unfortunately for those looking for more details about the game, the video really only teases 10 seconds worth of gameplay, sandwiched between Codemasters’ 15 second introduction and 19 seconds of ‘pre-order and follow us on our social networks’. In that 10 seconds, we […]

Zombie Studios brings out Daylight, a horror game using Unreal Engine 4

Daylight is one of the first few games that will run on Epic’s next generation Unreal Engine 4. Although there will probably be many more games that will be announced this year to run on this latest game engine, one can wager that few or none of them will be like Daylight. It’s an odd game, no doubt… Daylight puts you in the shoes of a lady, with no name, who wakes up in an abandoned asylum and unable to […]

9 fresh in-game Crysis 3 screenshots

Today’s a busy day for Crytek. After releasing The Hunt is On trailer for Crysis 3, they’ve also got nine new screenshots to share. Half of them were taken in-game while the others seem to have been rendered by the game’s CryEngine 3. The game’s user interface (UI) appears to be mostly the same as Crysis 2 but with a few tweaks, particularly noticeable in the sleeker right side display of suit energy and ammo/weapons. Detail levels and sharpness […]
