Microsoft creates Xbox Entertainment Studios in Los Angeles

After talking about the success of their Xbox 360 and Kinect yesterday, Microsoft recently unveiled the opening of their new Xbox Entertainment Studios. EA: Medal of Honor franchise not axed, shelved for the time being

Upcoming Lego City Undercover for Nintendo looks like a load of fun in new trailer

The first Lego game to be published by Nintendo is looking like the regular action-comedy genre in this latest trailer. Made of plenty of fun and humor, Lego City Undercover will see players take on the role of Chase McCain, an undercover cop who is looking to take down the cause of the recent spike in crime rates – Rex Fury.
Lego City Undercover will be released exclusively for Wii U on March 18 (North America) and March 28 (Europe).

11 minute Tomb Raider gameplay video shows tactical options in combat

Square Enix has uploaded a gameplay video of the upcoming Tomb Raider reboot called ‘Monastery Escape’. The segment shows Lara facing a lot of near-death experiences and how she deals with them, especially when it comes to stealth and open combat. Creative director Noah Hughes says that players must “assess the situation before you jump in” and that the game “promotes the tactical approach”. Build something: RAGE Tool Kit now on Steam

Over the weekend, idSoftware announced via the Bethesda Softworks Blog that they were releasing the RAGE Tool Kit, which was used in the creation of the game of the same name, RAGE, and its The Scorchers DLC. This allows folks to get started on mods for the new idTech 5 game engine, which has so far made one appearance powering 2011’s Rage video game.
