Valve launches Steam Early Access: play games while they’re being made

Valve has officially launched Steam Early access today, which will allow gamers to play titles which are still in the works. Electronic Arts CEO John Riccitiello resigns

Electronic Arts made an announcement today that John Riccitiello will be stepping down from his CEO post as well as from being a member of the company’s Board of Directors on March 30. Riccitiello, who has been EA’s CEO since 2007, cited accountability and missing an internal operating plan in his resignation letter. By stepping down, he wants to “allow the talented leaders at EA a clean start on FY14”.
