It’s zombies and even more zombies in the newly announced collaboration between Valve and Capcom to bring characters and zombies into each other’s games. Capcom is finally releasing Resident Evil 6 for Windows PC next Friday on March 22.
To commemorate the upcoming release of Brutal Legend on PC, Valve has just put two melee weapon skins for Left 4 Dead 2 in the spotlight. The Brutal Legend Flying V Guitar and Battle Axe are two downloads that replace the stock guitar and axe in the game. They do not change the game mechanic of being used to slash or bash zombies, but their unique look does add a bit of diversity and change in Left 4 Dead 2.
Capcom wants PC gamers to be ready for the release of Resident Evil 6 on Windows. In association with Nvidia, they’ve brought out a benchmark application that tells Windows users how well the game will run on their machines. Minimum system requirements that are officially listed are an Intel Core2Duo 2.4 GHz or AMD Athlon X2 2.8 GHz processor, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage space and at least a Nvidia GeForce 8800GTS graphics card.

It’s monsters versus humans in the upcoming new Siege multiplayer mode for Resident Evil 6. The new gameplay mode puts players in a fight to kill/keep alive an AI bot soldier, with one team playing as monsters against the other team composed of the main Resident Evil 6 characters. Siege mode is the 4th new multiplayer mode for Resident Evil 6 and will be available in March for $3.99 on PlayStation 3 and 320 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360.
Capcom announced that Resident Evil: Revelations, the game originally launched for the Nintendo 3DS last year and received lukewarm reception, will be making its way to 4 much larger gaming platforms on May 21, 2013. Revelations is set between the events of Resident Evil 4 and 5.
