It’s a great time to be a PC gamer and if you’re just starting to build one of your own, AMD has expanded its Never Settle Reloaded game giveaway with a special Level Up promotion. AMD has added one additional free game so anyone who purchases their Radeon HD 7870, 7950 and 7970 graphics cards will now get the same 4 games (Crysis 3, BioShock Infinite, Tomb Raider and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon).
The Lost Island is the first DLC for high-tech first person shooter, Crysis 3, which was first launched in February 2013. This DLC is geared towards the multiplayer aspect of the game while bringing players back to the setting of the original Crysis; with 4 new maps (Ascent, Crossing, Coastline and Creek) all set in the forest and foliage-filled environment of an island near the Philippines.
Three days later, we get a launch trailer for Crysis 3 and it’s the extended version of the Sharp Dressed Man commercial, only this time there’s funky music playing in the background to emphasize Prophet’s swagger and it put a smile on my face because, heck yeah, the wait is over. Also, I love it when some humor is incorporated into games because it reminds me greatly of what the word ‘game’ means – loads of fun.

Today’s a busy day for Crytek. After releasing The Hunt is On trailer for Crysis 3, they’ve also got nine new screenshots to share. Half of them were taken in-game while the others seem to have been rendered by the game’s CryEngine 3. The Hunt is On: The appropriately named trailer shows Prophet, the main character in the Nanosuit you’ll be playing in Crysis 3, bursting out of containment. However, it also looks like, prior to that, a bunch of forces are leaping over things and rushing forwards to rescue him… I guess we’ll find out when the game hits Windows PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on February 19.

A new Crysis 3 video has been uploaded to keep your adrenalin pumping before the sequel’s release next month and this time it focuses on the multiplayer beta. Producer Mike Read explains the concept of the Hunter and Crash Site mode, detailing the number of players per team (6 on consoles, 8 on PC). The multiplayer beta begins on January 29 which is tomorrow. Stoked? Let us know how well it goes.
The list of achievements for Crysis 3 have surfaced on Xbox 360 Achievements and all of them are spoiler-free, although some reveal new features added to the sequel.
