By Brad S Feb 10 2013 add comment

It isn’t everyday that you see games whose creation was directly funded by gamers, but post-apocalyptic role-playing game Wasteland 2 is one of them. This upcoming sequel to the original Wasteland released in 1988 raised $2.9 million in funding via Kickstarter last year. After spending the past year in development, inXile and Obsidian Entertainment have just published a 17 minute long gameplay.

Codemasters flashes brief Grid 2 gameplay teaser

By Brad S Feb 9 2013 add comment

Grid 2 is an upcoming racing game that’s coming out this May. The developer of Grid 2, Codemasters (who’s also behind successful race track series Dirt), has just released a 44 second short video of the game. Unfortunately for those looking for more details about the game, the video really only teases 10 seconds worth of gameplay, sandwiched between Codemasters’ 15 second introduction and 19 seconds of ‘pre-order and follow us on our social networks’. In that 10 seconds, we […]

By Brad S Feb 8 2013 add comment

The Hunt is On: The appropriately named trailer shows Prophet, the main character in the Nanosuit you’ll be playing in Crysis 3, bursting out of containment. However, it also looks like, prior to that, a bunch of forces are leaping over things and rushing forwards to rescue him… I guess we’ll find out when the game hits Windows PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on February 19.

And then there’s the […]

L.A Noire gag reel has incredibly detailed expressions

…and tongues.
L.A Noire has gained universal acclaim and success for its compelling storyline and wowed critics with Depth Analysis’s MotionScan, a realistic facial animation technology developed for film and video game industries. This latest footage is exactly how a TV show gag reel looks like except L.A Noire is a video game, not a TV show. Not a single wrinkle or line on the character faces is unnoticeable and the resemblance between actors and in-game characters is terribly uncanny.
And there […]

By Brad S Feb 1 2013 add comment

As BioShock Infinite comes closer to its March release, 2K Games has released another trailer for the game. The latest City in the Sky trailer shows off the colorful parts and dark side of the floating city of Columbia. There’s plenty going on in the marvelous city that protagonist Booker DeWitt finds himself in; carnival performers, the occasional flying blimp and architecture with cues of colonial and steampunk design. Booker is seen drinking some sort of elixir in the […]

Columbia called ‘Modern Day Icarus’ in Bioshock Infinite’s Truth from Legend trailer

By Shan S Jan 29 2013 add comment

In this video narrated by Alistar Bloom, the history of Bioshock Infinite’s main setting, the floating city of Columbia, is explored as Bloom attempts to separate ‘Truth from Legend’ about the city’s mysteries and artifacts. It’s almost ridiculous (in a good way) how meticulously detailed this game is turning out to be, even before its release. I guess this is how Irrational Games keeps fans wondering to permanently secure the upcoming game as one of the most anticipated video games […]
