Crysis 3 The Lost Island DLC adds more multiplayer fun, already out

The Lost Island is the first DLC for high-tech first person shooter, Crysis 3, which was first launched in February 2013. This DLC is geared towards the multiplayer aspect of the game while bringing players back to the setting of the original Crysis; with 4 new maps (Ascent, Crossing, Coastline and Creek) all set in the forest and foliage-filled environment of an island near the Philippines.

New Watch Dogs video shows mocap session in action

I don’t think I could ever tire of mocap videos. That’s right; keep ’em rolling in, people. Ubisoft Montreal, for instance, has uploaded a developer diary video featuring the process of motion capture for its upcoming game Watch Dogs. The session shows how protagonist Aiden Pearce – or in this case, the mocap actor – attacks the bad guys brutally. As always for mocap videos, the footage is both impressive and fantastic to watch.

Ubisoft has released a new series of developer diaries for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag to show off how the game is made and mostly what the people behind it have to say of their goals and ambitions. Company of Heroes 2 trailer is filled with explosive action

Real-time strategy game Company of Heroes 2 gets a brand new trailer called ‘Above the Battlefield’ showing off dozens of soldiers at war in exploding battlefields with gigantic tanks rolling in and soaring military planes in the sky. The game will be set during World War II and focuses on the Eastern Front unlike its predecessor.
The next big FPS will hit stores on June 25 for PC.

Metro: Last Light launch trailer celebrates its release

Hot on the heels of its release, Deep Silver has released the launch trailer to celebrate Metro: Last Light. Dozens of reviews are out there already, a majority of them saying the sequel is not nearly as good as its predecessor. Sony promotes DualShock 4 controller features in mini video

Sony has just launched a new video talking about the features of the DualShock 4 controller for the upcoming PlayStation 4 console they are launching this year. The 2-and-a-half minute video shows Nicolas Doucet and Toshimasa Aoki, producer and product planner respectively for Sony Computer Entertainment along with Scott Rohde, Senior VP of Sony’s Worldwide Studios, discussing the key features of the DualShock 4 controller.

Namco Bandai has released the launch trailer for Star Trek, featuring all that high tech spaceship stuff, monsters, Chris Pine’s virtual twin and Spock with his iconic hairstyle and blue outfit. The game is available on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 today in North America while the UK launch will be on this Friday, April 23.

Say hello to the Lutece twins who are voiced by Jennifer Hale and Oliver Vaquer in this fun interview from GameTrailers. Splinter Cell: Blacklist trailer shows off Sam Fisher’s abilities

Ubisoft has just released a new trailer for their upcoming stealth adventure game Splinter Cell: Blacklist. The trailer highlights protagonist Sam Fisher’s abilities which compose of different ways he “stalks and strikes in silence”. Splinter Cell: Blacklist features the usual goodies from the stealth genre, with night vision goggles, silent takedowns and sneaking around the baddies. The trailer also shows off Sam in a Middle Eastern environment, inside a warehouse-like facility and some other locations.
