Ubisoft has just released a new trailer for their upcoming stealth adventure game Splinter Cell: Blacklist. The trailer highlights protagonist Sam Fisher’s abilities which compose of different ways he “stalks and strikes in silence”. Splinter Cell: Blacklist features the usual goodies from the stealth genre, with night vision goggles, silent takedowns and sneaking around the baddies. The trailer also shows off Sam in a Middle Eastern environment, inside a warehouse-like facility and some other locations.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist is available for pre-order and comes out for Windows PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U on August 20, 2013 in North America and August 23 in Europe. There will be a 5th Freedom Edition of the game that will include a Steelbook, collector box, Splinter Cell graphic novel and Sam Fisher figurine along with exclusive in-game content. Ubisoft just announced last Wednesday on April 10 that Splinter Cell: Blacklist would be available to the Wii U, in addition to PC and the two main consoles from Sony and Microsoft, and take advantage of the second display offered by the GamePad controller.
