Nintendo has announced that an all-pink version of their 3DS XL handheld gaming device will be launching in the United Kingdom on May 31. This cosmetic variant is colored an intense pink inside-out, making it different from the American ‘pink’ Nintendo 3DS XL which has a mixed pale pink and white color scheme.
Other than color, the UK pink Nintendo 3DS XL features the same hardware and specifications as the regular version of the handheld gaming console. Looking at history of Nintendo and consoles, it will likely that this pink edition will be region-locked. There is no word on whether or when this pink 3DS XL will be available outside of the United Kingdom.
