A Tesco listing suggests the title for Activision’s upcoming Call of Duty title ‘Ghosts’ which will be released as part of the annual cycle. The advert also states that the military shooter is slated for release on November 5, Tuesday. While the publisher refuses to comment on the current rumor, an official announcement is said to be made next month. According to earlier reports, the game will be under the Modern Warfare franchise and set in the future with soldiers forced to use current generation weapons, but whether it follows up on its predecessor’s storyline is still a mystery.
The box art features a closeup shot of a soldier pulling on Modern Warfare 2’s Ghost’s mask. The cover is definitely a fresh and different approach for CoD titles, being the first box art without a running soldier at the center of a battlefield or some guy walking casually away from a war zone with a weapon propped on his shoulder. A drastic change since Captain Price’s last adventure. Speaking of which, where is that man?
