It’s zombies and even more zombies in the newly announced collaboration between Valve and Capcom to bring characters and zombies into each other’s games. Capcom is finally releasing Resident Evil 6 for Windows PC next Friday on March 22.
The Resident Evil 6 x Left 4 Dead 2 initiative will bring the Left 4 Dead 2 survivors (Coach, Nick, Rochelle and Ellis) to the PC-exclusive No Mercy mode in Resident Evil 6. In addition, there will be two special infected, the Witch and a mini Tank, from Left 4 Dead brought into Capcom’s world. These Left 4 Dead 2 themed add-ons will be available for download at no extra cost in Resident Evil 6 from April 5.
In addition, Valve’s own Left 4 Dead 2 will mutually benefit with the availability of 3 Resident Evil 6 zombies (the Ogroman, Napad and Lepotitsa) via the Steam Workshop. These will be available for download at an unspecified date ‘this spring’.
