The Last of Us screenshots introduces new undead enemies

During the E3 2012 gameplay preview, we got to see Joel and Ellie take on a gang of human enemies as well as explore a bit of the scenic ruins of the city. Resident Evil producer: Too many games, franchise may shift back from action to horror

New Sherlock Holmes game announced, to use Unreal Engine 3

A new Sherlock Holmes game, titled Crimes & Punishments, has just been announced by Focus Home Interactive this weekend. The new game will be different from previous Sherlock Holmes titles in the gameplay and graphics departments. The game will adopt better animations and environments by using Epic’s tried-and-tested Unreal Engine 3. Players will be faced with the newly-introduced moral choices, instead of ‘going by the book’, which will affect in-game events.

4 unannounced new IP in the works at Microsoft’s Black Tusk Studios

Black Tusk Studios is a fairly new venture that was officiated by Microsoft in Vancouver last November. Talking with the Vancouver Sun shortly after Black Tusk Studios was formed last year, studio manager Mike Crump mentioned they were “working on Microsoft’s next big entertainment franchise” that would hopefully become “the next Halo”. War of the Roses free trial arriving Feb 6, Kingmaker edition and DLC coming 2013

Paradox Interactive, maker of third-person multiplayer action game War of the Roses, announced this weekend that a free trial of the game will be available this Wednesday on February 6. Why is the company offering a trial version months after the game’s launch in October 2012? We’re not too sure, but no doubt it is at least an attempt to boost sales of this multiplayer game where players fight with and against one another as knights.

Dark Horse and Square Enix are teaming up to begin a new comic book series entitled Tomb Raider: The Beginning based on the Tomb Raider video game reboot due for release on March 5. Rhianna Pratchett, the lead writer for the game, will also be writing for the comic which will act as a prequel to the game and tell the story of Lara Croft before her real adventures begin.

Battlefield 4 details to be revealed in ‘about 90 days’
