Game publisher THQ hasn’t been in the best of shapes the past few months. The company has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and is scheduled to sell its assets this week, including horror first-person shooter Metro: Last Light (which will hopefully find its way under the umbrella of a new publisher and get released on time). However, there have been quite a few game sales going on, which may or may not be related to their financial status, from the Humble Bundle during the holiday season to the Tantalizing THQ Medley last week.
This week, there is a THQ sale on Amazon with their Mega Pack in the spotlight. The THQ Mega Pack contains a total of 19 THQ-published games for Windows, which include famous titles such as Homefront, Darksiders and its sequel, Metro 2033, Saints Row 2 and Saints Row: The Third and four Warhammer 40,000 games. All 19 games are available for digital download to Steam via unlock codes that are given after purchase. The THQ Mega Pack normally goes for $50 but this week, until January 26, the bundle is going at half price: $25 for 19 games. Granted that these aren’t brand new titles, it’s still a real good deal if you haven’t played any/many of these games before and you can grab them all at over a dollar each.
