Capcom announced that Resident Evil: Revelations, the game originally launched for the Nintendo 3DS last year and received lukewarm reception, will be making its way to 4 much larger gaming platforms on May 21, 2013. Revelations is set between the events of Resident Evil 4 and 5.
It will be launched simultaneously for Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and the Nintendo Wii U in May. Capcom says Revelations will be upgraded to high definition levels with new elements, better lighting and graphics. There will be a new unnamed enemy and new weapons along with custom parts for them in Raid game mode. The game will be priced at $49.99 and sold in retail discs for the 3 console platforms and also available as a digital download for PS3 and PC. A digital download version for the Xbox 360 and Wii U are expected to be made available at a future time after the May 21 launch date.
