After initially announcing the launch of their Surface Pro would be pushed to January, Microsoft has confirmed today the final release date of their tablet is now February 9. That’s a little later than the January release they were shooting for but we’re glad the tablet with full fledged Windows 8 Pro will finally be out.
There will be two variants of the Microsoft Surface Pro, the $899 64 GB version and $999 128 GB variant. Two cover accessories will be available for purchase too, the $120 Touch cover and $130 Type Cover; the latter comes with a keyboard imprinted on the inside surface for easier typing.
Release dates for the Surface Pro in other parts of the word is yet to be announced.
