Santa isn’t the only going, HOHOHO, this holiday. Ubisoft has hit a milestone in the company’s history with seven million copies of Assassin’s Creed 3 sold worldwide, a month after the blockbuster game’s release.
According to Ubisoft’s stats, the total gaming time is more than 82 centuries and more than 3 billion assassinations have been committed, with an average of 429 assassinations per player, for the single-player campaign. In multiplayer, more than twice as many players have joined compared to Assassin’s Creed: Revelations and a record of more than five million multiplayer sessions has been achieved.
Rob Cooper, Ubisoft UK managing director, said, “We are delighted with the performance of Assassin’s Creed III this Christmas. This is a beautiful and epic game of exceptional quality and we’re pleased that our fans have responded so well to the brand new universe, storyline and game experience.”
