Man sets new record, plays Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 for 135 hours

A sales manager for Sydney-based online retailer 4Cabling has shattered the Guinness World Record for longest gaming marathon by playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 for over 135 hours. Guinness rules grant players a ten-minute break every hour which means Okan Kaya didn’t actually play continuously for 7 days. Since unspent time is accumulated, Kaya took naps in between to stay fresh and healthy. In the end, Kaya ranked 37th on the Black Ops 2 leaderboard.

Earlier this year, two Canadians broke previous records by playing Sony’s Resistance for 120 hours and 7 minutes.

Wow, just wow. Not sure if I should be impressed or disgusted by this. Maybe a little bit of both?
